Antique Victorian Amethyst Seed Pearl Rose Gold Brooch (1880s UK)

This beautiful antique brooch is delicately made with a stunning, deep purple rectangular cushion cut amethyst sourced from Siberia and many wild seed pearls in 9k rose gold as stamped. It was made in the UK around the 1880s. Siberian amethyst is the highest grade. Because the mines are depleted, Siberian amethyst is quite rare, making it the most valuable amethyst. 

Possibly, the brooch is converted from a nice coat button. The pin is not gold.

It is rare to find antique jewelry that all the gemstones are still in their original positions and in good condition after 100 years. This shows how delicate the craftsmanship is!

Marks: marker's mark and "9c" mark for 9k gold
