Handcrafted Rough Clay Wabi Sabi Gaiwan (shino glaze)

This Rough Clay Gaiwan is beautifully handcrafted with special clay in Jingdezhen, China. It features a wabi-sabi style with a rustic rough clay texture.

Externally, it is made with the Japanese Shino glaze that gives a traditional high-iron and earthy look to the textured clay body and brings a unique earthy grounding feeling to the teaware. Internally, it is glazed with natural wood ash.
