This elegant teacup is mindfully handcrafted with natural ingredients in Dehua County, China, which has been famous for ceramic crafts since the Song dynasty (10th century). It is carefully burned in the traditional wood-fired kiln that has been used for decades. The mat finish of this glaze resembles the hues and textures obtained from wood firing, giving the cup the beauty of simplicity and perfection of imperfect by nature.
